Digital Storytelling Task

Hi everyone,

I hope you are safe and healthy.

I am here another and last task, digital story telling.

First, we were wanted to choose a ‘how to ..’ topic and then we were expected to produce a 2 minutes video, even if we exceeded the time with my peer, İlayda. Yes, it was a group work and we worked collaboratively. We divided the missions up. But in every part we worked together and intercommunicated. We have faced some problems while editing with ‘Camtasia 9’, we had to do it several times but at the end of the day, we finished it successfully with ‘Movavi Video Suite’. We did it together with screen sharing on Zoom.

My peer, İlayda sent it to me via ‘wetransfer’. We listened a lot of music for background, we recorded lots of videos etc. In pigeon video, birds had flew towards my head, for example. 

But we did it and we love it a lot. I think our topic is interesting and a recent issue for both girls and boys in any relationship. We wanted it to be useful for you, our audiences.

Future, in my classes, I will use this task, too. But I know I have to give enough time to do as my teacher did and it should be peer task, too because it was the most challenging one among the tasks we did. But, it was nice to take in.

  Hi everyone, We have ended the term ... We were here with you to share our tasks and how technology can be integrated with language teaching. Beforehand, I couldn’t think technology would so helpful in ELL classes. Actually, I couldn’t imagine it as a tool. This course gave me this idea. It is not about using computers, edit programs etc. It is beyond that, I learned that which is really core to grasp the technology using idea in ELL classes. You know, we did lots of things throughout the course. Among them, my favourite one is absolutely the ‘Digital Story-Telling Task’. A Reflection/Final Post

  Hi everyone, This is the last time we meet, unfortunately. We have ended the term. We were here with you to show you our materials designed for our students as it was in the first term. What we have dealt with together ? First of all, we learned what is 21st century learning. We examined it from different perspectives.  We studied in groups. We crossed our borders, we became familiar with group working. We had tough times, we couldn't find proper tools or etc. But we have learned how to overcome difficulties we had. We learned searching for alternative ways all the time. We learned directing students, making them the main factor of the learning process which is vital for attracting them.  We have ended the term as our hands are full of baskets with flowers, I mean. It was enjoyful journey for me. I finished the class with a difference on me : Now, I know how to create fitting material for our students and how to make them informed about anything. Padlet Task on Lack of Education Topic

  Hi everyone, I hope you are safe and healthy. Here I am again with a new project which is padlet creating task. We have done it with my group mates, it was not individually-done project I mean. Well, let’s have a look how it’s going to create a padlet. First of all, it was very funny to create because we have used visual materials to make it much more attractive for you, readers. We used KWL method, which I have already used it for reading. KWL refers to K for ‘what you know’, W for ‘what do you want to know’ and L for ‘what did you learn after searching’ (It is highly recommended you to use it). We chose ‘lack of education’ topic which is related to our field and we started to search and complete our padlet task.
