Technology on Language Teaching

  Hi everyone, I hope you are safe and healthy.   We are back here with another task. This is a creating a digital poster task. We are supposed to create a poster which is about a book that we have read and we think like it is converted into a film and we have created a poster accordingly. I have chosen ‘ Tek Kanatlı Bir Kuş ‘ book again, as you can remember, I created a Wikii about it and so, I wanted to go on with it. I have chosen a background appropriate to content of the book. I used two quotations from the book and I wrote an attractive sentence to state the film to the suitable audience. I used dark colors because of the nature of the book. While working on this task, I can say that it is my favourite task so far. I stimulated my creativity, that’s why. I used ‘ postermywall ‘ as my teacher suggested, and it was very easy to use, I recommend you to use it.   Hi everyone, I hope you are safe and healthy. Here I am again with a new project which is padlet creating task. We have done it with my group mates, it was not individually-done project I mean. Well, let’s have a look how it’s going to create a padlet. First of all, it was very funny to create because we have used visual materials to make it much more attractive for you, readers. We used KWL method, which I have already used it for reading. KWL refers to K for ‘what you know’, W for ‘what do you want to know’ and L for ‘what did you learn after searching’ (It is highly recommended you to use it). We chose ‘lack of education’ topic which is related to our field and we started to search and complete our padlet task. As it is in every other task, padlet task has a specific side: it helps improve our technology use on teaching and it contributes our group-working ability. Hi everyone, Today as you can see on title, I did a wiki page about book review. We got permission from the teacher and we wrote our ideas. Now, I’ll share the experience with you. I’ve chosen the book, Tek Kanatlı Bir Kuş by Yaşar Kemal who is my favourite writer. I talked about the book, I explained why I like it and etc. Wiking process is not my favourite task, actually. But, it was not as hard as I thought. I normally like writing or giving ideas about books, and because of this it was enjoyable for me. I reviewed my memory, too while I was writing. Writing wiki is suitable for me and I think, it will be useful for our future students because it is a communicative way of using language and technology which is expected from them. Hi everyone, I hope you are fine and healthy. We are here in my blog with my podcast. You know, it is a course blog and this is my duty, podcasting today. I recorded a task about ‘If I could, what would I change in the world? ‘ question. I mentioned my ideas about the issue I want to change and makes me annoyed these days. You know, we have not equal chance and especially in that education, we face the difficulties much more. In my podcast, I talked about it. I talked about the inequalities of children all around the world. As for recording-writing process, it is not as hard as I thought. Idea finding is the easiest side of task because everyday, I see the diffulty and importance of that issue. In that process, I felt sad about the issue but recording or podcasting is really funny and useful process because with every other recording, I saw that I corrected my pronunciation mistakes and I believe that, consistently recording podcasts will help fix my errors in both writing and sp...

‘ The only constant in life is change.’ says Heraclitus .   It means a lot about how should be learning. It has to adapt to changes in every field on life. For example, teachers shouldn’t be the same as in 70’s. They should temporize the students’ necessities. They have to compensate their expectations from them by easing the way they walk. They have to understand them and behave according to students’ mutation. If a student wants to do sport, teacher or learning accessibilities have to be adjusted for the student. Technological and pedagogical sources have to be used for students’ demands. Time to time, teachers and learning system have to listen to student’s and the world. They have to make their system equivalent to the rest of the world to catch them up and develop and make children able to communicate effectively. This is the key.   Hi everyone,   This is my first blog broadcast and I feel very excited. Because, all the time, I really like the writing about something or express my feelings and this blog opens me a door of expression myself and opinions about teaching language with technology. It is a course blog, so I will be posting about teaching English language by using technology as a tool. We are future teachers and we have to use technology effectively to reach our students necessities. It will be possible with usage of advanced technological materials.
